XAT – The Xavier Aptitude Test is a national level aptitude test conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. The scores of the XAT will be used for admissions by XLRI Jamshedpur and other Xavier Associate Management Institutes and over 160 B-schools across the country. XAT 2023 will be conducted on Sunday, 08 January, 2023. The XAT is a national level test conducted by the XLRI to select the most appropriate candidates for management education from all over the country. XLRI conducts XAT on behalf of XAMI. For more than 72 years XLRI is conducting XAT at all the India level to select the most appropriate students for management education. The XAT score is being used by more than 160 Institutes for the admission.There are several other institutes which consider XAT scores for their selection procedure.

Application Fee:
- XAT Registration Fee Rs. 2000/-
- Candidates interested in XLRI programmes needs to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/-each.
- Indian Candidates applying for GMP through GMATRs. 2500/-
- NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT- Rs. 5000/-
- The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
XAT Eligibility Criteria :
- For BM and HRM programmes, students who have completed three years of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by a University or Deemed University, are eligible to apply.
- Those completing their final examination by June 10, 2023 may also apply.
- There is no upper age limit for XAT 2023 & candidates can apply irrespective of their age.

XAT 2023 Exam Pattern :
The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) was conducted on 3rd January 2021, from 10 am to 1 pm. This is a computer-based examination which was divided into two parts. The first part consists of sections such as verbal ability & logical reasoning, decision making and quantitative ability & data interpretation. The second part consists of general awareness questions. The organisers of XAT eliminated the essay writing section from this year.
